Vision and Goals

Long Term Strategic Vision for 2028

By 2028 CNSST Foundation aims to have achieved the goal of establishing itself as a successful social enterprise including social services, education & social housing run in a financially sustainable way. CNSST will therefore be capable of making a significant positive impact on local communities and enabling Asian migrants to fully participate in and contribute to New Zealand society in social, cultural, economic & environmental aspects.

 Strategic Goals:

Strategic Goal One: Stabilization & Advancement of Our Social Service Projects

Projects & Services: To act as a bridge between Asian and the wider community by providing our professional community services in a niche yet holistic approach to the Asian migrant communities, in order to facilitate their successful integration into the wider community and to enable them to contribute sooner to the New Zealand society.
Community development: To enhance and work collaboratively with other organisations to establish a solid and cohesive Asian Community Hub serving the Asian and the wider communities.

Strategic Goal Two: Sustainability & Innovation of Our Social Enterprising Projects

Education:  To further develop CNSST’s educational projects, such as developing CNSST Education Institute into a top local PTE, and developing CNSST Cultural Learning Centre as a leader of Chinese language teaching & cultural education for local children & young people, and initiating new training programmes at CNSST accounting centre.
Social Housing: To develop further rental social housing projects for local Asian seniors and also re-invest our housing surpluses back into the social rental housing in the long run, to meet the increasing need in housing, social and cultural aspects. To develop and consolidate a mature and sophisticated operations and monitoring system.
Others: To continue to initiate new social enterprising projects in order to support self-sustainability by identifying and gaps and opportunities in the market.  Also, to establish an effective monitoring system to ensure the projects run smoothly and sustainably.

Strategic Goal Three: Strengthening the Wellbeing of Our Team

Organisational operation: To develop an effective organisational structure, management system/ a committed management team and professional development strategy in order to enhance our team’s capacity, efficiency and productivity.
Staff team wellbeing: To develop a long-term structured pay rate policy that will ensure staff remain in the higher earning bracket within the sector.
